ThermalTake Xpressar Phase Change Cooler Preview @ TweakTown

Tags: phase cooling | preview | ThermalTake | Xpressar

Ever wanted to put a low-key refrigeration unit in your systems cooling loop?  ThermalTake is betting that at least some of you do.  And that you'll shell out for a system that has it all pre-configured.

Enter the Xpressar.  It's a phase change cooler running on R134a refridgerant, sucking down 49W at 12V off the standard system power supply.  To mount this beast ThermalTake has enlisted the Xaser IV chassis, a high end part from their line-up.

Keep in mind that this is a pre-release preview and they don't have any actual numbers on the performance.  Still, it's fun to look at.  Check out the new part at TweakTown.
