Intel's latest Core i7 has apparently ushered in a few changes at the company.  This motherboard, the DX58SO "Smackover" is aimed squarely at the enthusiast market rather than their usual mainstream or business customer.

Working with a fairly tight PCB the overall build quality looks nice.  The board features mostly solid capacitors backing up all the onboard features you could want short of onboard video.  Dual PCIe connectors are included to toss in your own Crossfire or SLI cards to fit that bit of the bill.

So this looks like a fairly solid, if expensive, X58 Core i7 board.  Check out the full review at Benchmark Reviews.
